Our Wedding // Cocktails!
“You need three ingredients for a cocktail. Vodka and Mountain Dew is an emergency.” – Peggy Olson

Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good cocktail. I like to keep my home bar stocked with a selection of spirits, liqueurs and bitters, in the event that an impromptu need may present itself. For our wedding we chose to offer two cocktails for two reasons: 1. It saved us a ton of money on a full bar and 2. I wanted to drink something delicious on my wedding day. In addition to the two cocktails we served two choices of local beer, 2 white wines and 2 red wines. I designed and constructed the “chalkboard” like sign to tie into the rest of the wedding day signage and stationery. It made it clear what guest had to choose from, and everyone loved the choices. The best advice I can give anyone planning the bar for their wedding is, your guests will drink whatever you offer, don’t over think it.

With the help of some taste testing friends, a little internet research and the knowledge that if you mix spirits with the right amount of acid, sweetness and bitterness you will find yourself with one delicious drink, I came up with these two lovelies.
